Lisa Marie Smith, President
Senior Marketing Manager, Local Corporation
Lisa Marie Smith has spent more than a decade producing marketing strategies and advertising campaigns across a broad range of products and services. At Local Corporation, Lisa Marie is responsible for brand, digital, SMB, and lead-generating marketing campaigns as well as social media engagement. In previous roles, she has been responsible for developing marketing strategies and messaging priorities, managing brand assets, media, merchandising, creative, sponsorships, and local marketing efforts as part of integrated marketing programs. Lisa Marie holds two degrees from California State University Fullerton - a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and an MA in Communication. An Orange County native, Lisa Marie enjoys spending time with her family swimming at local beaches, hiking in nearby mountains, and of course enjoying an afternoon at Disneyland.
Chelsea Sellars, Past President
Senior Marketing Manager, Buck Consultants, a Xerox Company
Chelsea is a senior manager in the marketing department for Buck Consultants, a Xerox Company, a full services human resources consulting firm. Chelsea’s responsibilities include the planning of sales and marketing strategies for Buck and implementing these strategies through participation in national conference sponsorships, speaking engagements, company hosted webinars, and other media avenues. Chelsea manages the marketing team responsible for implementing company participation in national events and webinars to ensure success and ROI. She works closely with the sales and client management teams to identify and secure new business opportunities. Chelsea is an MBA candidate at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and holds a B.S with a double major in Business Management and Parks, Recreation, and Tourism.
Deborah Rawson, Secretary

Deb Rawson is the Director of Sales, Western Division specializing in Event Marketing & Brand Strategies for Catch the Moment, providing unique event sponsorship activation and entertaining marketing services utilizing the latest in digital technology. Deb drives revenue for the western division and has helped delivered over 12,000 successful events (photo and video promotions) from leading Fortune 500 companies, professional sports teams, renowned marketing agencies, and private individuals worldwide. Deb works in tandem with agencies and brands to help engage their consumers through a truly unique experiential marketing experience.
Suzanne Diehl, VP Marketing & Communications
Senior Director of Business Development, RAZR Marketing
Suzanne is driven to expand RAZR’s western region potential by maximizing her customer’s success via a deep understanding of their needs and the passionate engagement of the RAZR team. In her previous thirteen year role as a Sales Director for Consolidated Graphics, the industry’s leading printing and communications firm, she maximized her clients marketing value by crafting relevant combinations of her company’s capabilities; from direct mail campaigns and marketing collateral, to designing and implementing custom online print and fulfillment systems for brands such as Seimens, Bosch and Thermador. She also developed a deep understanding of the franchise model; helping companies execute custom solutions to support corporate marketing objectives through the franchisee channel – for such brands as Baja Fresh and La Salsa restaurants.
Eric Vaughan, Co-VP Programming
VP of Business Development, GigaSavvy
An analytical, strategic marketing professional with fifteen years of experience, Eric Vaughan has driven results both on the agency and the client side. He is a proven business builder that unites classical marketing knowledge with a deep understanding of social media, SEO, web marketing and online reputation management. After several years developing the first guerilla marketing programs for record labels in the music industry, Eric has more recently focused on growing emerging companies through business planning and strategic partnerships. He is currently the VP of Business Development at GigaSavvy, a digital marketing firm located in Irvine.
Ricardo Vanegas, VP Membership

Ricardo Vanegas is Director of Sales and Marketing of the U.S. division of Unican Surya Agung, one of the largest snack and confectionery manufactures in South East Asia, has a proven track record of surpassing aggressive sales targets with nuanced marketing strategy and creative multi-channel solutions. This seasoned marketing professional has more than 14 years of experience in new business development, personal selling, branding and multicultural marketing for various industries like Manufacturing, CPG, Media and Advertising. Ricardo has a B.S. degree in Business Administration and recently finished the Marketing Certificate program at UCI Extension; complements his education and expertise with a tremendous entrepreneurial background and studies on several other disciplines. Member of ASCAP since 2004 and former Marketing VP of AIESEC, Association Internationale des Étudiants En Sciences Économiques et Commerciales, Sabana Chapter.
Nitasha Rohatgi, VP Collegiate Relations
Marketing Manager, Harris Tea
Nitasha Rohatgi is currently a Marketing Manager at Harris Tea and very actively involved in the community. After graduating with her MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from Pepperdine's Graziadio School of Business and Management in April 2011 she joined the Graziadio Alumni Network - Orange County as the Director of Marketing and the Orange County Chapter of the American Marketing Association (OC AMA) as VP of Collegiate Relations. While at Graziadio, Rohatgi was very actively involved as the Co-President of the Marketing Club, Conference Director of the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) and a part of the Graziadio Marketing Ambassador program. Before attending Pepperdine, she obtained a B.A. in International Studies and Minor in Management from the University of California, Irvine. She then spent five years working for a high-tech manufacturing firm managing trade shows and worldwide marketing communication initiatives. Nitasha was born in Toronto, Canada, raised in Orange County and enjoys watching basketball, discovering new recipes and traveling.
Mark David, VP Digital Media
Marketing Communications Manager, Unlimited Innovations, Inc.
Mark has held a design / creative role for 15 years and is currently the Marketing Communications Manager at Unlimited Innovations, Inc. Overseeing development of all externally facing communications as well as interface architecture for the company’s Professional Services offerings, Mark's experience and unique skillset can be applied to a broad range of projects. Mark holds an AA in Graphic Design, a Certificate in Web Design and Management, and a BS in Business Marketing. He lives with his wife and daughter in Orange County, CA.
Rene Negron, VP Finance
Managing Partner, brandStrata, LLC
Rene Negron is Managing Partner of brandStrata, LLC, a brand strategy and creative communications company he co-founded in 2001. With over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing and new business initiatives, Rene leads the agency’s research and strategy team enabling organizations to optimize communications effectiveness, and increase audience engagement and loyalty.
Prior to brandStrata, Rene has been instrumental in the launch and growth of several successful startup business ventures. He has held various business development positions at 3M Company and Imation involving corporate communications, advertising, publishing and packaging. Rene is also the recipient of the elite 3M Marketing Professionalism Award.
Katie Gladding, VP Sponsorship
Director of Marketing, Hope International
As Marketing Coordinator, Assistant Director, and now Director of Marketing at Hope International University (HIU), Katie has been integral in initiating and managing key marketing projects at the University. Through implementing a marketing media plan, HIU has seen increased enrollment numbers and stronger brand recognition. She introduced and manages social media strategies, resulting in interaction with over 2000 people in 27 months. She spearheaded monthly email newsletters resulting in an all-time high in alumni giving and a 91% increase in unrestricted giving. Lastly, that of which she is most proud, she developed an internal marketing campaign to change people’s perspective of the university’s quirky architecture, successfully creating a positive viewpoint in fellow employees and campus leadership, as well as to the public by drawing attention to the uniqueness of the buildings through website posts, email blasts, social media, and press releases. Katie graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a degree in Speech Communication. She is happily married to Jason Gladding, also a marketing professional, and is Mom to the cutest Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chloe.
